DEKRA Certification tests and certifies products, components, installations and medical devices, and it also audits and certifies several quality-management systems and professional qualifications. Its business complex in Arnhem consists of 10,000 square metres of office space and test laboratories, while an ultramodern testing hall was opened adjacent to the existing building in 2014.

DEKRA Claims & Expertise is involved in fleet management, valuations, and expert appraisals, as well as settlements of vehicle-related claims. This business unit also offers vehicle inspection, claims handling, and services regarding liability and technical insurance. The business units DEKRA RAIL and DEKRA Material Testing & Inspection also operate from the Netherlands.
