Social media strategy

These days, there is no company that isn´t present on social media, usually with a company page on several channels. But if you look carefully, it appears that many companies started off with great enthusiasm, but then very quickly failed to follow through on their social media activities.

And that´s a pity, because even if managing your social media channels isn’t difficult, you do have to consider well in advance why you are active on social media and what you wish to achieve.

We use this information in a social media strategy for our clients, which usually entails the following steps:

  • Analysis of the current situation; we map out where we stand now and what the starting point can be for the new strategy
  • Definition of the goal of the social activity: what do you want to achieve with your online presence?
  • Preparation of a social media plan in which we determine e.g. what channels the target groups are on and what content they should be approached with, and how you interact with your network for an optimal result.

Once we´ve figured out what we want to tell and how, it´s time for the most enjoyable part: implementation. We set up the channels so that relevant information can be found quickly, and the content and the timing are integrated into the posting plan. Where necessary we sponsor posts, so that not only already-existing followers see the content, but new target groups as well.
